el Noré is the alter ego of Remco Gaikema, born in Bogota (Colombia). Remco started as a multimedia designer at The Academy for Pop Culture, but attended songwriting classes as well, only to find himself as a singer songwriter. His groovy pop songs are written in english as well as in Dutch.

The last two years el Noré played several solo gigs during open mics and talent shows throughout the country, but he played also a couple of shows in the UK (Aberdeen) and in France (Marseille).
Last year el Noré started to work with other musician and Florian Wolff, a fellow singer songwriter, introduced him to Joost van Soest (drums) and Dennis Hemstra (bass). They recorded five songs for the EP: 'el Noré' for the graduation project of Remco.

2011 started great with a good show during the Eurosonic festival.
